Using The Learning Management System in Teaching Listening Skill To Students At The First Level, Department Of Arabic Language Teaching, Dar Al-Fath University

The background of this research is motivated by technological developments and Arabic language teaching, as these two developments cannot be separated and must be complementary. The aim of this research is to describe the use of the learning management system in teaching listening skill and to describe the interest of students in participating in the learning process using this program. The approach for this research is the qualitative descriptive approach and the first-level students are subject, where their number is 20 students. Observation, interview and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the research conducted showed that the learning management system used by the Moodle system, while using this system, students used Moodle for mobile so that students could listen and deal with the lecturer directly. In addition, the impact of using a learning management system on students makes students more active in learning and guided in accomplishing the daily and final job. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of a learning management system in teaching the skill of listening has a positive impact on the learning process and the interest of students
